When you look at an octopus in its natural habitat, you may observe something almost magical. They are swimming, floating, living inside of the natural world. And just like most people, you will feel that you are outside. My art, who I am and what I stand for is all about this deep longing to be inside the natural world. As you can sense, I am a dreamer. My work is for the dreamers.

Water reflects
Its shows you this undulating image if yourself
Organic lines that float in and out, dancing with wavy gestures

It shows
It expresses

Ungoing
Floating
With life above
And underneath

I feel the need to create with the most ordinary things. Art is my process mechanism. The act of giving things meaning and asking myself questions during this proces helps me not to accept something indiscriminately. I examine the most common concepts. I try to make my unconscious curiosity aware and show this outcome through my art.

I believe that only through sharing different experiences the common ground can be found. Even if my dusty experience will be alien, my ice will be cream or my blue will have a different shade, this clash will establish a conversation. Maybe a verbal one, maybe an inner one, but either way I will be one step closer to understand someone, and that someone might start understanding me.
As long as the conversation keeps on going, interesting things will keep on happening.

In my art I like to try different techniques to achieve an explosion/emotion of some sort, small or big. I enjoy to use materials that allow me to let go of the control which directions they will go in. The moment of an action in art is more essential than the end result for me.

Water is growing in power; the sea level is rising. Dikes have to raise to their toes to prevent the water from coming in our lands. One day they will have to surrender. Allowing the water to flow inside. Turning our beloved little country into a puddle. What then? We could evacuate. We could adapt. Change our way of living, our bodies, our thinking.
